Celebrating Excellence across NHS Scotland

NHS Research Scotland were delighted sponsor the 'Innovation Award' at the annual Scottish Health Awards which took place on 4 November 2015.
The Scottish Health Awards 2015, is the most prestigious and recognised awards ceremony for healthcare professionals within Scotland.
The Innovation Award was open to an individual, a group or a team developing innovative ways to improve the quality of healthcare and the health of the nation through service improvements. This could include research, development of new treatments or technologies, new ways of working or faster access to services. It recognises an innovator, a researcher or a team whose work has led to significant improvements in quality, safety or productivity within the NHS in Scotland.
Professor Julie Brittenden, R&D Director, NHS Grampian presented the award to Edinburgh Alcohol Related Brain Damage Team at NHS Lothian.
