Clinical Research Facilities
A network of Clinical Research Facilities (CRFs) within Scotland provide a purpose-built environment for patient-oriented research. They provide access to cutting-edge clinical facilities and opportunities for research scientists to work closely with clinical researchers, and support the advancement of new therapies and treatments for patients.
Facilities are available to:
- Healthcare professionals who would like to undertake commercial or non-commercial clinical and healthcare research projects
- Any researcher who needs to utilise a clinical facility is eligible to request access whether he or she works for a University, the NHS or another research organisation
- Large and small pharmaceutical and technology device companies and contract research firms
